There was movement at North Sydney Station,
for the word had passed around
That a bolt of deep regret had come away
The chance of future get-togethers -
was considered somewhat browned
Many tried and noted lions wanted another day.
The Queensland Banana-Benders Reunion will be held in Yandina again this year (November), however there have been several suggestions that there should also be a low-cost Sydney-based Get-together in 2020.
July is the suggested month: somewhere on the north shore, plenty of no-cost parking and accessible by public transport.
There’s no association; no union; no committee…just a small group of willing volunteers.
But we need at least positive 50 replies to this mini-survey by 20 February for the project to move ahead. Not enough replies then no get-together!!!! Liaise with your Stream Leader.
